Our unit about story elements covers character, character traits, and how characters change throughout the story. Students are responding to questions about the characters in the book I am reading aloud in class.	As a class we will review the comments made by our classmates to see which comments best showed a character trait and used evidence from the text.
We will continue to read and comment about character and character change in the book "The Invention of Hugo Cabret".	We began commenting on the blog about various books to become familiar with the process.
